Vivo S1 variants and pricing details leak ahead of India launch

Ahead of the launch the India price and also the variants of the Vivo S1 have leaked. With the Vivo S1 it looks like the company is aiming to take on the likes of similar price segment phones like the Realme X. 

Vivo India is all set to launch the Vivo S1 in India on August 7. Ahead of the launch a lot has been talked about the all-new Vivo S1. This is the first-ever S series phone that the company is launching in the country. The Vivo S1 has already been launched in some of the international markets and as we at India Today Tech has previously reported the Vivo S1 Indian and international models won’t be very different. Ahead of the launch the India price and also the variants of the Vivo S1 have leaked. With the Vivo S1 it looks like the company is aiming to take on the likes of similar price segment phones like the Realme X.

According to indiashopps.com the Vivo S1 India price will start at Rs 17,990. The website says, this price will be for the base model of the smartphone. The leak further reveals that the Vivo S1 will come in three variants in India. The base model will packed 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As said this model will be priced at Rs 17,990.

The second model of the Vivo S1 is said to include 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This model of the phone will be priced at Rs 19,990, the leak reveals. Lastly, the top-end model of the phone is said to come packed with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a price tag of RS 24,990. To recall, Vivo recently launched the Vivo S1 in Indonesia for IDR 35,99,000 that roughly translates to around Rs 17,800).

In India, the Vivo S series is said to focus on offline and online both like the V series, and unlike the Z series that focuses on online. The international model of the Vivo S1 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front the Vivo S1 runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top.

The Vivo S1 comes with a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, a waterdrop notch, slim bezels, screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, three rear cameras and more. The phone includes a primary 16-megapixel sensor, secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and third is a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear panel. On the front the smartphone includes a 32-megapixel sensor for clicking selfies. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and a massive 4500mAh battery.
